"Regret" is a story about a man finally realizing the heartbreaking moment of regret of losing his true love. The lyrics capture the emotions of a roller coaster love affair, coupled with the backdrop of some outstanding music production from Greg Hunt and Rosewood Studios: the final product of "Regret" will intrigue listeners who have experienced heartbreak and love. The tune itself has experienced the up's and down's of life as the original artist and co-writer Wayland Hicks was lost to an unfortunate motorcycle accident in 2018. "Regret": a powerful, powerful tune about humans, love, and heartache.

Following the success of her first two singles on the Texas Charts and her recent performance at this year's T3R Future Faces Show, Cynthia went into BGM Studios in San Antonio to bring this song to life with the help of Bill Green. Cynthia has seen and experienced, personally, the negative impact of addiction and what it leaves in its wake. So, she wrote this song with the intent to bring encouragement and hope to those facing that battle and trying to escape it. She wants to remind everyone that, for every dark moment of addiction, there is light at the end of the tunnel. She prays this song helps those who need it.
